Ultimately, above all else, the mission of Heartland Bible Church will always be to glorify God.

Glorifying God literally means “to give honor to God” and it’s the purpose of every church.

How do we give honor to God?

We honor God through our prayer. We honor God through our praise and worship.  We honor God by our obedience to His word. We honor God by believing in his son, Jesus Christ, and what His life, death, and resurrection means to each of us.

God is honored when we humble ourselves before Him and admit our dependence upon Him. He is honored when we come together to thank Him for who He is and what He has done for us. He is honored when we bow down before Him and offer praise.

We honor God when we invest in those around us and in our community. Heartland prays it makes a spiritual and practical impact, not only in Wood Dale, Illinois, but also the surrounding suburbs of Bensenville and Addison!

Heartland Bible Church exists to give all praise, honor, and glory to God!

God is honored when we demonstrate our love for Him through our obedience. In order to be obedient, we must understand what God expects. God is honored when we become disciples, learning about who He is and how we can please Him.  He is honored when we become His ambassadors and are equipped for ministry and prepared to share the gospel message of Jesus Christ.

Heartland Bible Church also exists to equip and edify, or build up, God’s people. We offer weekly Bible studies and discipleship groups designed to assist people in their journey with the Lord.

Lastly, Heartland’s mission is to focus on God’s command to shepherd and disciple His people. This includes, not only caring for people, but also, protecting, guarding, teaching, equipping, and preparing people of all ages to use their gifts and talents while discovering the unique purpose God has designed for them.

Bible Verse of the Day
